At Christ Church & St Peter’s C of E Primary School, the safety of our pupils, families, and staff is our highest priority. In line with a recent site and risk assessment, we have made important changes to vehicle access on the school premises.

Car Park Closure – 8:00am to 4:30pm

Please note that the school car park will be closed to all non-staff vehicles between 8:00am and 4:30pm. This measure is especially important for families using the Superstars Activity Club, as arrival and departure times overlap with high levels of on-site traffic.

Due to:

• Staff arrivals,

• Taxi congestion,

• Limited turning space within the car park,

It has become essential to restrict vehicle access during these hours in order to maintain a safe and secure school environment.

Important Reminders

• Do not enter the school car park at any time between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

• The pedestrian gate will remain open during this time for walking access.

• Please do not park on the track next to the car park, as this is private property and not owned or managed by the school.

• For added safety, the pedestrian pathway will be coned off until 8:30am, or until school taxis have departed.
